This is a scene from Loonsong, my continuing story about Anita, whose psychotic break with reality is so intense even the people around her get sucked in.

Here, she’s 'undressed' the part of a barbarian girl for a bike rally in the high California desert – but she’s quickly losing confidence in her protectors as they waste precious time debating whether to outrun the demon rainstorm or try to wait it out in the strange castle on the cliff. What no one realizes is that they’ve somehow crossed over into the mythical land of Nod.

Painted in Photoshop CS2 mainly using a mouse (with a touch of Wacom 12WX).
